Chocolate Crepes
Only word one is needed to describe these; yummy!
Chocolate Crepes
Yield: 6 servings
For the crepes:
250g flour
500ml milk
50g butter, melted
2 eggs
50g powdered sugar
pinch of salt
In a bowl, mix together the flour, sugar and salt. Stir in the eggs and butter until well blended. Gently mix in the milk.
Heat a crepe pan over medium heat until hot. Coat with vegetable oil. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter into the pan and tip to spread the batter to the edges. When bubbles form on the top and the edges are dry, flip over and cook until lightly browned on the other side and edges are golden. Repeat with remaining batter.
To serve, fill crepes with chocolate sauce.
For the Chocolate Sauce
200g semisweet chocolate
2 tbsp heavy cream, warm
Melt chocolate. Stir in warm cream.
